Job Description

About Our Practice We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our primary care family. Our entire team—from our front desk staff to our providers—is fully fluent in both Spanish and English. Your Daily Impact Patient Care & Connection:
Greet patients warmly, guide them to exam rooms, and conduct intake interviews in their preferred language (English or Spanish).
Clinical Support:
Measure and record vital signs, review medication lists, and prepare patients for their visits.
Provider Collaboration:
Work closely alongside our providers during routine checkups, annual wellness exams, and minor in-office procedures.
Laboratory Duties:
Perform routine blood draws (phlebotomy), collect specimens, and administer basic diagnostic tests such as EKGs.
Care Coordination:
Maintain accurate Electronic Health Records, manage prescription refill requests, and follow up with patients regarding their care plans.
What We Are Looking For Language Skills:
Fluent verbal English and Spanish communication skills; professional written English skills for documentation.
Experience & Credentials:
No formal medical assistant certification or experience is required. Medical assistant credentials, diplomas, or previous clinical experience are a plus, but we are fully prepared to provide comprehensive on-the-job training for the right candidate.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
