Job Description
Medical Assistant Full Time We're looking for a reliable and patient-focused Clinic Medical Assistant to help provide excellent care in a busy outpatient setting. In this role, you'll support providers, care for patients, and keep the clinic running smoothly and efficiently.
What You'll Do:
- Assist providers with patient care and minor procedures
- Record medical history, vitals, and other key information
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Educate patients on treatments and medications
- Maintain timely patient flow and notify patients of delays
- Prepare and sterilize equipment; stock and organize exam and procedure rooms
- Review sample medications, monitor expiration dates, and order supplies as needed
- Screen phone calls for the provider and relay messages appropriately
- Maintain accurate patient charts, records, and test results
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- CMA or CNA certification (preferred)
