We offer an atmosphere where we put women's health and well-being first and foremost. We are a physician-owned full-service OB/GYN practice with 6 providers on staff. Our business is more than how well we practice medicine - it is a reflection of ourselves as caring and committed people. The Women's Healthcare Group (located at Quivira and 435 in Overland Park) is seeking a skilled Full Time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our patient care team (no nights or weekends) . This individual will work with our physicians and mid-level providers to provide outstanding care in our busy practice. This position would be trained in all clinical aspects of the office. The responsibilities of a CMA include: Welcoming patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries Preparing patients and room for the health care visit Verify patient information; reviewing and/or recording medical history; taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment Supports patient care delivery Completes records by entering orders as directed by physician and recording test results into the Electronic Medical Record Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential Starting wage range: $16.50-$18/hr

Uniform Program Education and Experience:
