Overland Park, KS Job Details Part-time 18 hours ago Qualifications Vital signs Intake Filing Medical scheduling Attention to detail Full Job Description Part-Time Medical Assistant A private specialty medical practice is seeking a dependable, polished, and compassionate Part-Time Medical Assistant to support patient care in a weekday clinical setting. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys direct patient interaction, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in helping visits run smoothly from intake through provider follow-through. This is a strictly Medical Assistant role with a primary focus on rooming patients, collecting intake information, obtaining vitals, assisting with light scheduling, communicating physician orders clearly and professionally, and supporting the physician during in-office procedures. The right person will be warm, organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable balancing efficiency with excellent patient care. Schedule

  • Room patients efficiently and professionally.
  • Obtain and document patient intake information accurately.
  • Take and record vital signs.
  • Prepare patients for provider visits and support clinical flow.
  • Communicate physician orders and next steps clearly to patients.
  • Assist with light scheduling and follow-up coordination.
  • Assist the physician with in-office procedures as directed.
  • Set up and maintain a sterile field in accordance with office protocols and scope-of-practice requirements.
  • Help maintain accurate patient records and protect confidentiality.

  • Support a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment. What We Are Looking For
  • Previous medical assistant experience preferred.
  • Medical assistant certification is welcome but not required.
  • Strong communication and patient-service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office setting.
  • Professionalism, dependability, and attention to detail.
  • Comfort assisting with in-office procedures and sterile set-up.
  • Comfort working closely with patients and providers in a specialty practice environment. Ideal Candidate Traits

  • Able to take direction well and learn office workflows quickly.
