Job Summary The Medical Assistant (MA) supports our providers by performing clinical and administrative duties that ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to provide excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and room patients, take vitals, and document accurately in the EMR (AthenaOne experience preferred) Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments Prepare and administer medications and vaccines per provider orders Perform in-office testing (strep, flu, COVID, urinalysis, etc.) and record results Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and clinical supplies Manage patient phone calls, prescription refills, and prior authorizations Review and update patient charts, allergies, and medication lists Support care coordination, including referrals, labs, and follow-up visits Participate in quality improvement, chronic care management, and preventive care outreach Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and OSHA standards Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent preferred) Previous clinical experience in a medical office (1+ year preferred) Knowledge of electronic medical records (AthenaOne experience a plus) Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills Compassionate and professional patient interaction Schedule & Benefits Monday-Friday, [ 8:00 AM-5:00 PM] No weekends or holidays How to Apply Submit your resume through Indeed with your current contact information.
