Medical Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This position is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our clinic, particularly in settings such as urgent care, pediatrics, and inpatient services. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately. Prepare examination rooms by cleaning and stocking necessary supplies. Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures. Manage patient scheduling, including appointments and follow-ups. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with medical terminology standards. Support the clinic's administrative functions, including filing and data entry. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and systems relevant to patient care. Familiarity with urgent care practices and pediatrics is advantageous. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient service. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not mandatory. Punctuality is a must.
