Medical Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This position requires a strong understanding of clinical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Administer medications as directed by physicians. Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Prepare patients for X-ray and other diagnostic tests as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Support the internal medicine team with various tasks related to hospital medicine. Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols. Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication administration. Assist in both medical-surgical procedures and routine clinic operations. Skills Proficient in medication administration techniques. Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) principles. Familiarity with hospital medicine practices. Experience working in clinic settings is preferred. Ability to accurately assess and record vital signs. Understanding of internal medicine concepts. Experience in outpatient care environments is a plus. Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures is beneficial. Basic understanding of X-ray procedures is advantageous.
