Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our primary care team. Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures Administer injections, immunizations, and medications as directed Perform basic lab procedures (e.g. Testing, specimen collection, EKGs) Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Coordinate patient flow and assist with scheduling and follow-ups Handle patient phone calls, including triage and medication refill requests Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and compliant with safety standards Follow infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of experience in a primary care or outpatient setting preferred Proficiency with EMR systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
