Medical Assistants perform administrative and clinical duties under the direct supervision of a medical provider - physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner - in the medical office setting.

Taking patients to rooms Greeting patients Obtaining vital signs Scheduling appointments Performing phlebotomy Answering phones Obtaining lab specimens Clerical & computer work Adhering to safety and infection guidelines Faxing Maintaining electronic medical records (EMR) Disability & Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) paperwork
Qualifications:

Desired:
One year Nursing Assistant, PCA or MA High School Diploma or GED;
Certified Medical Assistant Desired:
