Job Description
Role and Responsibilities Perform urine drug screenings and alcohol screenings as needed per clinic protocol Collect blood specimens/phlebotomy for laboratory testing as needed Maintain proper specimen handling, labeling, and chain-of-custody procedures when applicable Prep urine and serum samples for lab pick-up Retrieve, upload and provide urine and serum results to provider for timey review Accurately document clinical information within the electronic medical record (EMR) Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic safety standards Maintain inventory and stock clinical supplies Provide compassionate, professional, and nonjudgmental patient interactions Assist with obtaining/documenting patient vital signs, height, weight, and changes in medications/medical/psychosocial history Assist nursing staff with assigned clinical duties, patient care tasks and clerical duties if needed Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements High School diploma or GED Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) with unrestricted license in Kentucky and a minimum of 3 years SUD, Psychiatric or MOUD experience preferred. Must successfully pass background checks and drug screening. Special Requirements Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
