Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Float Certified Medical Assistant, you will provide versatile clinical and administrative support across various departments, ensuring seamless patient care and operational efficiency throughout our facilities.
Every day you will expertly triage patients, assist providers with examinations and procedures, manage patient records digitally, and meticulously maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adapting seamlessly to diverse settings.
To be successful, you will demonstrate outstanding adaptability, strong clinical skills, and a proactive, patient-centered demeanor, contributing significantly to optimal patient flow and high-quality care wherever assigned. Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures. Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider. Obtain and record vital signs including but not limited to, blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem. May be required to collect urine drug specimens, draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Administer ordered medications and /or vaccines via oral, injection, topically, rectal, ophthalmic, and /or nasal administration. May perform routine tests including but not limited to EKGs. Job Requirements Required High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or High School GED General Studies, upon hire and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, upon hire Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, upon hire or Certified Medical Assistant AAMA, upon hire or Certified Medical Assistant NHA, upon hire or National Certified Medical Assistant NCCT, upon hire or National Registered/Certified Medical Assistant NAHP, upon hire or Registered Medical Assistant AMT, upon hire or Registered Medical Assistant, upon hire or Cert Med Asst - MMCI, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire Preferred Two year medical assistant experience
