Job Details Description Job Duties:
Telephones Tasking Triage Pre-certifications Medication Refills Assistance with scheduling on occasion Rooming patients Obtaining and documenting patient vitals and histories. Preparing patients for exams. Assisting physician (provider) with exams and minor procedures Injections Stocking, monitoring and cleaning exam rooms/work area and patient waiting areas. Various other duties as assigned/needed.
Requirements:
Must be Registered or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. Licensed Practical Nurse will also be considered for this position. Previous medical office experience is
REQUIRED.
Proficient computer skills with Electronic Medical Record experience. Knowledge of medications. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary. Attention to detail. Ability to function in organized manner within a very busy, fast-paced setting. Multi-tasking skills required. High focus on quality patient care. As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to
HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN
regulations and maintain annual required workplace trainings.
