Position Overview:
As a Medical Assistant at The Regenerative Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our medical practice. You will work closely with our medical team to provide outstanding patient care and support. Your ability to connect with patients, maintain a positive and empathetic demeanor, and assist with various medical tasks will be essential to our commitment to delivering exceptional regenerative healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor, creating a positive and comfortable environment. Escort patients to examination rooms and prepare them for medical procedures or treatments. Record and update patients' medical history, medications, and vital signs accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations, treatments, and minor surgical procedures. Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment for use. Administer injections and assist with procedures under the guidance of healthcare providers. Coordinate patient scheduling, ensuring efficient flow and minimal wait times. Educate patients on treatment plans, procedures, and post-treatment care instructions with clarity and empathy. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and the medical facility. Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing patient paperwork.
Qualifications:
Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant healthcare training. Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred. Proven experience in a clinical healthcare setting, with experience in orthopedics, pain management, primary care, or regenerative medicine preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Empathetic, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to care. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy. Phlebotomy experience preferred.
