Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will support physicians and healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth operations across outpatient and inpatient settings. Your dedication to patient service, combined with your medical knowledge, will help foster a welcoming environment for diverse patient populations. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with intake procedures to ensure accurate documentation. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and assisting with positioning as needed. Support physicians during procedures. Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently by documenting patient encounters and updating medical histories. Assist with specimen collection, basic laboratory tests, and preparing patients for surgical procedures. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, coordinating follow-up appointments, and ensuring comfort throughout visits. Requirements Experience in clinical settings such as dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or medical-surgical units is preferred. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Hands-on experience with EHR systems and proficiency in managing patient data securely. Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care excellence.
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
