Medical Assistant Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Technician to join our team. As a Medical Technician, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory procedures and assisting in the collection, processing, and analysis of medical specimens. Your expertise in phlebotomy, laboratory techniques, and medical terminology will be essential in ensuring accurate and timely results.

Duties:

• Perform drug and alcohol testing (Federal and Non-Federal training provided
• Perform blood sampling and phlebotomy procedures
• Prepare and process specimens for analysis using laboratory techniques
• Conduct various laboratory assays and tests under the supervision of a medical technologist or laboratory manager
• Follow established protocols and procedures for specimen collection, processing, and analysis
• Perform specific occupational screening test (training and certification provided)
• Maintain accurate records of all tests performed and results obtained
• Assist in data analysis and interpretation of test results
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Some local travel required for onsite testing.

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Medical Technician or similar role preferred
• Proficiency in medical terminology and laboratory procedures
• Strong data analysis skills with attention to detail
