Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records Maintain accurate and strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and/or manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policies. Providing instructions and directions to patients regarding diagnostic tests, procedures and treatments Preparing exam rooms for clinical examinations and assisting practitioners with patient care Answering telephones and returning messages Scheduling appointments and procedures

Requirements:

1+ year of Medical Assisting experience helpful Medical terminology helpful Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment Must be able to interact with patients and co-workers with a professional, can-do attitude!
