Job Description:
The ideal candidate will assist our healthcare professionals in delivering top-notch care to patients seeking foot health services. This role requires a personable individual who is passionate about patient care, possesses strong organizational skills, and is committed to maintaining a positive clinic environment. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and podiatrists in patient examinations, treatments, and procedures related to foot health. Take and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately. Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization. Educate patients on foot health procedures, treatments, and aftercare instructions. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing procedures. Sterilize medical equipment and ensure proper stocking of supplies. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical Assistant is required. Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in podiatry or foot health. Proficiency in medical terminology and basic knowledge of foot-related conditions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. Knowledge of medical office procedures and electronic health record systems
