Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support across outpatient settings, including specialized areas such as pediatrics.. Your proactive approach and medical knowledge will help ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate patient documentation, and exceptional service delivery. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in outpatient clinic. Support physicians and or nurse practitioners with clinical tasks such as medication administration, vaccinations, procedures and basic life support (BLS) when needed. Conduct routine assessments including vital signs measurement, anatomy and physiology-related evaluations, ICD coding for diagnoses, and basic physiology knowledge application. Manage medical administrative support tasks such as appointment scheduling, patient correspondence, and documentation of medical records. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient or hospital environments; clinic experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication administration procedures. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required Familiarity with EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient data management. Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings such as urgent care centers or outpatient clinic experience is a plus.
