Job Description

Overview Full-time position for a Licensed Practical nurse (LPN), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Assistant for patients receiving Spravato Therapy and treatment for mental health disorders. No weekends or holidays! Be at the Forefront of Mental Healthcare. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow your clinical skills while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide care for patients with mental health and/or addiction disorders in a high-quality, patient-centered, supportive environment. Duties Assist with patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories and verifying insurance information Measure and record vital signs and obtain drug screens. Monitoring patients before, during, and after treatments for a required observation period. Support clinicians during psychiatric evaluations and medication administration, adhering to safety protocols Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently by documenting patient encounters, updating records, and coding diagnoses using ICD (International Classification of Diseases) codes Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control standards and privacy regulations.
Administrative Duties include:
Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments and follow-ups. Managing phone calls and relaying messages. Verifying insurance coverage. Handling patient check-in/out and processing payments/copays. Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Skills Social perceptiveness and service-oriented Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to psychiatric outpatient care Experience with outpatient clinics—preferably within mental health, addiction, or related specialties Proficiency in EHR systems and medical administrative support tasks, including scheduling and documentation Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and efficiently. Ability to collect drug screening. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to mental health care delivery Knowledge of first aid and Basic life support (BLS) certification is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations Join us in making a difference!
