As a key contact for patients and families, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery and improved mental health.

Responsibilities:

Assist with patient intake, including vital signs and basic assessments Educate patients and families on treatment plans and available resources Coordinate communication and resources between patients, families, and clinical staff Advocate for patients' needs within the multidisciplinary care team Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare standards Perform front desk duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and triaging patient calls Assist clinical staff with procedures as needed (e.g., EKG testing, specimen collection) Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and healthcare regulations Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education:

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training

Certification:

CMA, RMA, or similar certification required

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of medical assistant experience, preferably in mental health or pediatric settings

Skills:

Proficient in taking vital signs and conducting basic patient assessments Comfortable with phlebotomy and specimen collection (or willingness to be trained) Experience or willingness to learn EKG testing Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach toward mental health patients Familiarity with EHR systems and computer proficiency Ability to work both in-person and via telehealth platforms Flexibility to accommodate patient and family scheduling needs
