Job Description

Medical Assistant position available at growing, busy dermatology practice. This position is for someone who is able to work in a very fast-paced setting while being thorough with their obligations and keeping a happy, high-energy demeanor. About

Pure Dermatology, established by Dr. Kate Zibilich Holcomb, is committed to skin health at every age. We work with all skin types through all stages of life, whether helping a parent choose a sunscreen or treating a grandparent's skin cancer. Each patient is unique and deserves their own special attention. At Pure Dermatology, our customized approach takes into account the patient's own concerns while considering facial structure, body type, age, and skin quality in order to maintain balance. Our team combines injectables, lasers, energy devices and medical grade skincare and treatments to give the most efficient and effective outcome. We strive to make patients continue to look like their "PURE selves" and not unnatural or overdone.
Description Skills Needed:
Must be able to quickly manage a busy clinic without compromising the patient experience Team player with positive attitude Ability to multi-task and prioritize time Remain positive and pleasant in a high demand environment Social perceptiveness and dedicated effort into neat and professional appearance Must be able to engage with, comfort, and educate patients Efficiently use an iPad Maintain comprehensive knowledge of treatment plans and packages. Knowledge of medical or scientific terminology preferred HIPAA and privacy guidelines followed at all times
Responsibilities:
Clean and sterilize exam rooms and instruments Maintain stocked rooms Prepare exam rooms for visits and procedures Inform patients of opportunities and/or expectations regarding the charges for their visit Accurate and thorough documentation of patient triage, exam, and visit Assist provider during visit Adequately perform for both medical and aesthetic visit types Complete needs for referrals, results, lab orders, surgical specimen, prescriptions, etc. All other clinical and clerical duties needed to assist in office flow Engage with patients to develop comfortable relationships Provide post visit details and resources; be able to answer questions Effective picture taking and photo management Communicate with internal and external partners to ensure a positive patient experience Keep a tidy and organized workflow and workspace Assist with any other needs, as necessary, for providing excellent patient care
Schedule:
4 days per week: 7:45am - 5:45pm
