In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support clinical operations. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help ensure smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and a welcoming environment for all patients. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) efficiently and accurately Support providers during examinations and procedures. Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and ensure sterilization protocols are followed for safety and compliance Administer medications or injections under supervision, following proper medication administration procedures Perform basic life support (BLS) when needed Conduct ICD coding for diagnoses to ensure accurate billing and record-keeping Experience Prior experience working in outpatient clinics, hospital medicine, or emergency departments is highly desirable Knowledge of various specialty clinic environments is preferred Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical terminology is essential for success in this role Familiarity with inpatient procedures is a plus Demonstrated ability to perform vital signs measurement, anatomy and physiology knowledge, ICD coding Experience supporting urgent care settings or outpatient clinics enhances your ability to thrive in this fast-paced environment Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications related to emergency medicine or hospital experience are advantageous Join us to become an integral part of a compassionate healthcare team committed to delivering outstanding patient service.
