Medical Assistant II Tulane University - 4.0 New Orleans, LA Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Computer operation Customer communication Word processing Medical office experience Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Desktop applications Clerical experience Medical assisting Productivity software Full Job Description Responsible for providing routine patient care under the supervision providers at Tulane Living Well Clinic. Will also be responsible for initial patient interaction including: blood pressure monitoring, glucose monitoring, blood draws, vaccination, and patient education. Will also be responsible for entering data in eCW electronic medical record systems.
Minimum Qualification:
High School Diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited medial office assistant training course, military corpsman training program, or nursing assistant course. Two years of clerical/administrative medical office experience
Preferred Qualification:
Minimum of 3 Years Experience as a Medical Office Assistant Experience with Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine patients Experience with electronic medical records systems Ability to use various computer programs, applications and standardized word processing required Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a culturally diverse, patient-centered, holistic atmosphere.
