Job Description

A fast-paced medical practice is searching for a dependable, motivated medical assistant for an immediate opening. Must have 1+ years experience in a clinic setting, able to obtain manual vitals, administer injections, basic medical terminology and familiarity with electronic medical records.
Responsibilities include:
obtaining and recording patient medical histories, vitals, and test results in EHR, scheduling appointments, answering phones, scheduling appointments and procedures, administering injections, obtaining insurance prior authorizations, patient call backs and assisting physician with procedures and other duties. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 - 5:00. No weekends or holidays are required.
Pay & Benefits:
Commensurate with experience. Expected 40 hours per week. In addition to salary, the benefit package includes paid major holidays, two weeks vacation per year, and retirement benefits upon qualification.
