Job Summary A busy medical practice in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant
- Certified for a direct hire opportunity.
This role is ideal for a dependable, detail-oriented CMA who enjoys balancing back-office clinical support, patient interaction, accurate EMR documentation, and physician assistance in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This is a stable medical office environment with a supportive team culture, consistent weekday schedule, and the opportunity to work closely with providers who value accuracy, professionalism, and patient-centered care. The successful candidate will contribute to smooth daily clinical operations while helping patients feel prepared, informed, and well cared for. Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, treatments, appointments, and in-office procedures.
- Prepare patients for visits by obtaining vital signs, patient histories, and clinical information.
- Enter, maintain, and update patient information accurately in EMR/EHR systems.
- Support chart preparation, documentation review, lab follow-up communication, and patient care coordination.
- Manage incoming clinical documentation and help ensure patient records are complete and compliant.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and efficient daily clinical workflow. Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $33,280 to $37,440 per year.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.- 1.5-hour lunch break.
