The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring excellent hands-on patient care, patient education, and clinical documentation. This position is suited for individuals who are passionate about patient care and possess a strong understanding of medical administrative support. Experience in various aspects of the outpatient clinic process such as triage, medical documentation, EHR, and prior authorization will be advantageous. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and collecting medical histories. Manage administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, processing prior authorizations. Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Facilitate communication between patients and medical staff to enhance the patient experience. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in medical assistance. Experience Previous experience in a hospital setting or clinic is preferred, particularly in areas such as wound care, care coordination, or minor surgical procedures (not required). Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures relevant to both outpatient and inpatient care. Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems is beneficial for efficient documentation and patient management. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
