Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support within our medical facility. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health information. Provide medical administrative support including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols. Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care and improve clinic operations. Experience Previous experience in a medical assistant role or relevant clinical setting is preferred. Knowledge of coding practices related to medical billing is a plus. Previous experience in Athena Health EMR preferred. Familiarity with medical-surgical procedures and physiology is advantageous. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Ability to work effectively within a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
