Job Overview Join a private internal medicine practice as a Medical Assistant, where your enthusiasm and expertise will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) accurately. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to support clinical assessments. Obtain labs and perform EKGs when needed. Assist with billing using a user friendly billing software and the backup of a dedicated billing specialist. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions compassionately, coordinating appointments, and facilitating smooth patient flow within the office environment.
