Department Summary:
The Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition is part of Boston Children's Hospital, ranked as one of the top children's hospitals in the nation by U.S. s & World Report. We provide families with individualized treatment plans and access to more specialized care than any other hospital. We offer state-of-the-art, family-centered care for our patients using a team approach with physicians from different specialties, advanced-care providers, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and registered dietitians.
Key responsibilities:
Working in our busy Gastrointestinal clinic caring for infants, children, adolescents and young adults. Receiving and/or registering patients, visitors and staff for appointments. Facilitating patient flow through the clinic. Collecting, verifying and recording required information, obtaining records, files and/or results for appointments and entering related information on appropriate computer systems. Assisting clinician during examinations; obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, weights, heights and lengths. Collecting specimens. Performing other related duties according to specific needs of clinic, including supply inventory, and ordering and auditing clinic supplies and formula. M-F, 830a-5p in the Boston clinic. Minimum qualifications:
Education:
HS diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
1 year of Clinical Assistant experience requiredPediatrics experience preferred.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
