This will require the deployment of administrative, analytical and interpersonal skills alongside clinical skills and an aptitude for securing multi-departmental and professional support for clinical trials through effective communication at all levels of the organisations. Main duties of the job Provide specialist research and clinical care for participants of clinical studies. Facilitate the co-ordination of clinical research as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Act as a point of contact for enquires about clinical research projects. Maintain clinical research project databases. DUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING
Essential criteria Good Standard of education to minimum of 4 GCSEs European Computer Driving License or equivalent evidence of IT skills Desirable criteria Formal training or experience to diploma level or equivalent GCP (Good Clinical Practice) training
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Essential criteria Experience in a clinical setting Current experience in Microsoft Office software (e.g. excel, word) Desirable criteria Current knowledge and understanding of medical terminology Experience in NHS IT / patient data management systems Experience in supporting, planning, implementing or delivering projects
