Please email resume to Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Room patients. Accurately measure and record vitals signs according to patient need and practice protocol. Document chief complaint. Review current medications, allergy history and update EMR as required. Provide assistance with patient exams, perform ekgs, spirometry and administer injections. Instruct and assist patients in collection of specimens. Keep clinical area clean, and stocked with medical supplies. Obtain medication prior authorizations. Complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Work collaboratively to ensure optimum patient care. Maintain a professional and courteous manner.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program. Dependable with the ability to multi-task and perform in a busy work environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills. Familiarity with Electronic Health Record System a plus.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, no evenings or weekends.
