Job Description

Department Summary:
The mission of the Division of Developmental Medicine is to improve the lives of infants, children, and adolescents who have developmental and behavioral problems, and to support their families throughout their child's life span. Our goal is to create new models of integrated and collaborative clinical service, training, and research that will lead to better diagnostic acumen, treatment, quality of life, and optimal outcomes for children with developmental and behavioral challenges.
Key responsibilites:
Obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature, pulse and blood pressure. Performing other related duties according to specific needs of unit. Answering and directing patient messages and maintaining environment of care including ordering and stocking. Transporting supplies and equipment as needed. Collaborating with team including Child Life and/or Behavioral Response Team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Minimum qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or
GED Experience:
1 year of Clinical Assistant/Nursing experience preferred. Previous experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other neurodevelopmental conditions preferred.
