Role:
We are a small Biotech Consulting firm seeking a highly detail-oriented Clinical Trial Assistant to support our Project Managers and ongoing clinical trials.
Please note:
This is NOT a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant position. This is a scientific, administrative role focused heavily on medical research, document review, and file maintenance for clients working with medical devices, drugs, and biologics. Candidates MUST have prior clinical trials experience to be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Review & Audit Prep:
Review files to ensure all necessary documents (e.g., doctor CVs, signatures) are accurate, complete, and ready for audits. Follow up on any missing items.
Data & File Management:
Accurately name and organize files using specific formatting guidelines and large Excel spreadsheets. File project correspondence emails according to our internal guides.
Quality Control:
Proactively identify and correct discrepancies in documents to prevent issues for our clients.
Logistics Support:
Inventory and ship supplies to study sites, maintaining accurate tracking logs of what was sent and when.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience:
Prior clinical trial experience is strictly required. Attention to
Detail & Critical Thinking:
Ability to learn a core process and apply it to a variety of unique, similar situations.
Technical Skills:
Comfortable navigating trackers and spreadsheets (e.g., utilizing filters and Ctrl+F in Excel).
Work Style:
Thrives in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working both independently and closely within a team. Must be proactive in reading instructions and asking for clarification.
Compliance:
Complete discretion is required. Must undergo HIPAA and GDPR training and pass a background check before permanent hire.
