Medical Assistant•Passport Health•Travel Medicine and Immigration Services At Passport Health, we are dedicated to helping individuals stay healthy and protected through travel medicine, immigration physicals, immunizations, and preventive healthcare services. As the largest provider of travel medicine and immigration medical services in North America, we operate more than 300 clinics across the United States and Canada and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our Massachusetts team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a specialized healthcare setting where you will make a meaningful impact on patients navigating travel health requirements and immigration medical examinations.

Quincy, MA•Travel between sites is scheduled and limited to business needs (not constant daily reassignment)

Full-Time, Monday-Friday Hours:
Typically 8:00 AM•4:30 PM (up to 40 hours per week)
Pay:
$28.00 per hour What You'll Do•As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for every patient. This position combines clinical support, patient coordination, and administrative responsibilities within a fast-paced outpatient environment. Clinical Responsibilities Review patient medical histories for completeness and accuracy Prepare patients for examinations and clinical services Administer vaccines in accordance with company protocols and state regulations Monitor patients following immunizations and assist with adverse event reporting if necessary Perform venipuncture and specimen collection when applicable Document clinical information accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR) Communicate laboratory results and coordinate follow-up appointments as directed Client Experience Welcome and assist patients throughout their visit Serve as a primary point of contact for patients completing immigration medical examinations Respond professionally to patient questions and concerns Provide clear education regarding required services, documentation, and follow-up steps Collaborate with Client Services and clinical staff to ensure timely patient care Administrative Support Manage patient intake and documentation processes Collect and process payments Scan, upload, and maintain patient records within EMR systems Coordinate physician documentation and appointment preparation Support daily clinic operations, including walk-in patient assistance and shipment processing Assist with local business development initiatives and community outreach efforts as needed Operational Duties Monitor and maintain vaccine, medication, and medical supply inventory Ensure proper storage, rotation, and documentation of inventory Order and track laboratory and clinic supplies Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of clinical and reception areas Support compliance with clinic policies and healthcare regulations What We're Looking For•Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent customer service and communication skills Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities Proficiency with computers, EMRs, and Microsoft Office applications Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care Preferred Qualifications Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) Experience administering vaccines and performing venipuncture Bilingual in Spanish Experience working in immigration, occupational health, travel medicine, urgent care, or primary care settings Why Join Passport Health?
