Medical Assistant Location:
Newton, MA Monday through Friday 8-4:30 in General Surgery Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures Record patient medical history, vital signs, and chief complaints accurately Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical equipment is properly sterilized and stocked Administer injections, medications, and vaccinations as directed by the provider Perform basic laboratory tests, specimen collection, and phlebotomy procedures Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up visits Maintain and update electronic health records (Epic) and patient documentation
Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of a Medical Assistant training program within 12 months of service required. Current nursing student or Paramedic preferred. National Medical Assistant Certification preferred. CPR training required. Experience working as a Medical Assistant preferred Additional procedure and knowledge of sterile field preferred Epic experience preferred. TSHL01
Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
