Perform clinical and administrative duties as part of the team in a Patient Centered Medical Home model pediatric primary care solo practice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Patient Care Room patients and prepare patient and room for visit Measure and record vital signs Review and document patient medications and allergies, and developmental, behavioral, and health risk screening Perform and document vision and hearing screening Perform in-office laboratory tests and collect and handle patient samples Administer and document vaccinations and injections Review patient education materials Assist with examination or procedures when necessary Call patients at provider?s request and document calls Clinical Participate in team huddle prior to clinical session Monitor schedule and patient flow Keep exam rooms stocked and clean Manage patient education materials in rooms Administrative Order supplies, medications, and vaccines Complete all responsibilities of Vaccine Coordinator including usage reporting, ordering, monitoring temperature logs and uploading data Report lead screening results to state Monitor requests for prescription refills and document refill encounters Complete prior authorizations Complete health forms Other Participate in Quality Improvement activities Attend regular staff meetings Extra hours may be required depending upon the needs of the practice Complete Epic training for Medical Assistant Periodic educational or training time may be required Job Qualifications Candidates should be high school graduates and have satisfactorily completed Medical Assistant or?
