Oral Surgery Clinical Assistant Job Location:
North Shore, MA, including Amesbury.
Lynn, Melrose, and Peabody Employment Type:
Full Time Our practice is a multi-location oral surgical office looking for an experienced clinical assistant for its Peabody and surrounding locations. We are looking for a team player who can adapt and flourish within a fast-paced schedule and stressful and demanding situations. Our practices are located in Amesbury Lynn, and Peabody with expectations for working in multiple offices as needed. Duties & Requirements Set-up/prepare operatory rooms for consultations, surgeries, and post op appointments Assist doctor in preparation of patient documents and correspondence Assist doctors for various surgeries performed in our offices Clean and sterilize surgical instruments according to CDC, MA Dental Board and practice policies. Maintain office and operatory cleanliness - routinely check drug expiration dates Take dental x-rays Seat and greet patients openly and warmly - Demonstrate empathy for patients in pain Answer phone calls related to scheduling and or post-operative calls Comply with office policies, procedures, safety, OSHA, HIPPA, and MA Dental Board guidelines. Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to multi-task and adapt to a stressful environment. Attention to detail Punctuality Oral Surgery experience a strong plus
