In this role, you'll be an essential part of creating a warm, respectful, and empowering experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Duties:
Perform patient intake, including detailed medical and gynecologic histories, and accurately document chief complaints and symptoms Measure and record vital signs Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during gynecological examinations, procedures, and minor in-office treatments Serve as a chaperone during sensitive exams, ensuring patient comfort, privacy, and professionalism at all times Prepare and clean exam rooms; sterilize instruments and maintain appropriate infection control standards Manage and update electronic health records (EHR), including documentation and order entry Calling patients with results as directed via the provider Administer medications and injections under provider direction, following clinical protocols Process and track prior authorizations for medications, imaging, and procedures Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-ups to support continuity of care Ensure exam rooms are properly stocked Qualifications & Experience Prior experience as a Medical Assistant required, experience in women's health GYN, or a related specialty preferred but not required Proficiency with EHR systems and medical terminology (experience with eClinicalWorks is a plus) Strong clinical skills including patient intake, vital signs, and assisting with in-office procedures Ability to handle sensitive patient interactions with professionalism and empathy Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or plan to obtain Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred but not required Why Join Us This is an opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-focused gynecology practice where your role directly contributes to high-quality, personalized care.
