Monday-Friday 8:30-5pm! The Neurology Clinic provides diagnosis and treatment for adult and pediatric patients with neurological and neurosurgical disorders including Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Stroke, Alzheimer Dementia, Dystrophy disorders, Seizure disorders, and Brain and Spine disorders. The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in ambulatory practice areas function as integral members of the interdisciplinary team. The CMA is responsible for direct patient care and clinic operations in the ambulatory clinic environment, including the maintenance of the environment of care and supplies/equipment. The CMA shares the responsibility with other clinicians in ensuring a safe environment for the patient while providing quality care and a positive patient experience. The CMA may be required to float between ambulatory practice areas.Shifts:
8 hour day shift, Monday-Friday No nights or weekends!Certified Medical Assistant Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program required Completion of CMA certification with the credentials of RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CCMA or CMAA required prior to hire Valid BLS CPR certification required upon hire; JHH accepts AHA, Red Cross, and military training network Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of CMA experience Why CMAs love working at Johns Hopkins No Nights or Weekends Excellent Benefits Package including tuition reimbursement.Salary Range:
Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
