MEDICAL ASSISTANT BEL AIR HEALTH

 104 Plumtree Road, Belair, MD 21014 Bel Air Health Center believes in the power of compassionate care. We offer a wide range of services, including primary care, specialized treatments, and preventive care, all designed to support the health and well-being of our patients at every stage of life. Medical Assistant - Physician Practices (CPE) The Medical Assistant supports providers by ensuring efficient patient flow and maintaining high standards of care. This role performs a wide range of clinical and administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to measuring and recording vital signs, collecting specimens, administering injections, answering phones, maintaining provider schedules, ordering supplies, and completing other assigned administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers before and during patient examinations to ensure quality care and patient safety Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support efficient office operations Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and privacy policies, including strict confidentiality of patient information
Requirements Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
One to three years of relevant experience
Certification:
Certified Medical Assistant for designated practices; AHA CPR certification required for designated practices
