Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will support physicians and healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth operations within our pediatric practice. Your proactive approach will help deliver exceptional patient experiences while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, updating records, and verifying insurance information using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort throughout their visit. Document patient interactions accurately using medical terminology and ICD coding for billing and record-keeping purposes. Maintain clinical supplies inventory, sterilize equipment, and uphold infection control protocols to promote a safe environment for patients and staff. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and ICD coding to accurately support clinical documentation. Experience working in pediatrics preferred. Proficiency in EHR systems for documentation, scheduling, and patient data management. Ability to perform basic diagnostic procedures such a CLIA waived rapid testing. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to pediatric populations. Knowledge of medication administration protocols adhering to safety standards. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail. Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
