Medical Assistant

Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by explaining processes clearly and ensuring comfort. Perform clinical tasks such as administering medications, collecting specimens for laboratory testing, injections, and drawing blood. Support inpatient and outpatient care by managing electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately and efficiently. Assist in emergency situations by providing basic life support (BLS), supporting trauma teams at Level I or Level II trauma centers, and helping with urgent care procedures. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols for medication administration and infection control. Ability to work both reception and medical assistant role Experience We're looking for someone with experience in pediatrics who is comfortable working with children of all ages. Experience collecting specimens is important, and we strongly prefer candidates who have drawn blood from children and administered vaccines. The ideal candidate is energetic, a quick learner, and a supportive team player who brings a caring and positive attitude to every patient interaction.

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
