Eldersburg Arthritis, a busy rheumatology office located in Carroll County, is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to become an integral part of our dedicated healthcare team. We offer a supportive and pleasant working environment, where patient care is our top priority.
Key Responsibilities :
Pre-authorization of medications and checking lab work. Sending prescriptions and communicating lab results with patients. Taking vital signs and preparing exam rooms for patient visits. Scheduling patient appointments and managing patient flow. Performing blood draws and other clinical duties as needed. Assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
Qualifications :
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in rheumatology setting. Familiarity with EMR systems and strong computer skills. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy. Ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment. On-site training specific to our practice will be provided.
