Job Description
Sanctum Integrated Health Services LLC, is an innovative integrated medical private practice that is looking to hire a part-time medical Assistant who can work 18-24 hrs per wk. Sanctum is uniquely designed to treat the mind and body with our integrated team approach. We conduct our visits virtually, in homes, in health care institutions and in our office. Work days are currently on Monday-Friday which are subject to change as we grow. We are looking for one medical assistant to join our team who is self-driven, punctual, reliable and willing to learn new skills. Responsibilities Documentation in electronic medical records Recording patient's chief complaint accurately Charting pertinent information in chart example.. vital signs with accuracy, and recognizing abnormalities Preparing patient for physician examination Patient interview, collecting specimens, performing phlebotomy and inoculating culture , dipstick and microscopic urinalysis, and microbiology, laboratory test , must be willing to receive additional training and education that is pertinent to practice services. Performing electrocardiography Accompanying Provider during House call visit Assisting and Participating in Health screening events Mobile labs and Remote device set up for house call population Able to maintain confidentiality with all aspects of information in accordance with Practice, State and Federal regulations Communicating effectively with providers and other staff Performing patient testing within your scope of practice. visual field , hearing screening Medication documentation Administration of vaccinations Utilizing computer skills, including Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel) QA testing device, Monitor lab inventory Provide consistent exceptional service Coding knowledge as it relates to services performed. must be willing to receive additional education and training that is specific to practice services. Qualifications Graduate from and accredited CMA program Experience working in a medical office Familiarity working with medical testing equipment experience in performing medical task , drawing labs, taking blood pressure, EMR experience High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills Certifications and licenses that apply
BLS, CPR, CCMA, MAC CMAA, CMA
