Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient service. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients. Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and documenting medical histories. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance verifications. Support outpatient care by educating patients on treatment plans and follow-up care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians in inpatient settings, including specialized areas such as PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit). Utilize knowledge of physiology to assist in patient assessments and care planning. Skills Strong patient service skills with a focus on delivering compassionate care. Knowledge of hospital medicine practices and procedures. Familiarity with outpatient clinic operations and workflows. Proficient understanding of physiology relevant to patient care. Ability to provide effective medical administrative support in fast-paced environments. Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred but not required. Proficiency in using healthcare systems for documentation and communication purposes.
