Job Description

We are a busy Primary Care office looking for a team player with a positive attitude who can assist our patients in a kind and caring manner. Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task. This a Full time medical assistant position and MUST be dependable and punctual.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO
Rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs,medical histories and medications Preparing patients for exams Give injections, perform EKGs, assist provider with procedures as needed Sending in prescriptions Triage clinical calls and be able to clearly communicate messages to the providers Ensure rooms are clean and always stocked Must have great documentation skills, pays attention to detail Works cooperately with all staff members
WILL ALSO PERFORM ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES SUCH AS
Scheduling appointments, medical records,prior authorizations, sorting faxes and filling out medical forms for patients.
Job Type:

$19.00 - $19.50 per hour
