Medical Assistant (Clinical + Patient Experience) Shakthi Health and Wellness Center Position Overview Shakthi Health and Wellness Center is seeking a highly motivated, patient-focused Medical Assistant to support both clinical care and front office operations in our integrative and functional medicine practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered environment and values a more personalized approach to healthcare.

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM

• 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities Support providers with patient care, including rooming, vitals, and clinical assistance Perform patient testing using medical equipment; ensure proper maintenance and readiness Accurately document visits, testing results, and procedural notes in EMR Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical organization Manage front desk responsibilities: phones, scheduling, check-in/out, and patient communication Process payments, maintain records, and manage incoming documents Coordinate care with providers and team members to ensure a seamless patient experience Uphold HIPAA and confidentiality standards Qualifications Experience in a medical or wellness setting preferred (integrative/functional medicine a plus) Medical Assistant certification preferred, but not required Familiarity with EMR systems Strong interpersonal and communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Professional, dependable, and able to multitask efficiently What We're Looking For Someone who is proactive, adaptable, and genuinely invested in patient care.
