We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists in areas of practice, from cardiology to podiatry. We offer growth and advancement and have been serving the community for over 50 years. We are seeking to add experienced Certified Medical Assistants to our team in Pikesville located in the Woodholme Medical Building at 1838 Greene Tree Road! Our ideal candidates must be willing to work in a fast paced environment and provide excellent care and service to our patients. Travel may be required between office locations in Towson and Reisterstown.
Shift:
Monday
  • Friday / Day Shift Totaling 37.5 (+) hours per week
  • Requires flexibility
  • Must be available to work as early as 7:00am and as late as 6:00pm The Medical Assistant will work closely with our healthcare providers in a multi-specialty setting.
Full Time candidates with proven EHR experience will have hands-on responsibilities with patients in a healthcare setting that offers enrichment and an opportunity for growth. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing a positive, supportive, nurturing, yet professional experience whether triaging calls, rooming patients and assisting during an office visit, or providing follow-up to patients and/or families. The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of services up to and including: Assistance during routine exams Recording a patient history and logging vital signs. Obtaining and tracking authorizations and test results Entering lab / diagnostic test orders Scheduling appointments, procedures, or imaging Providing Patient Service Representative coverage when needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Current registration/certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program. Excellent patient care and customer service skills. Minimum of 1 year experience in Internal Medicine preferred. Our ideal candidate will come to us registered Nationally as a Medical Assistant and experienced in Internal Medicine or Primary Care.
  • Candidates selected for an interview will be required to take a medical skill assessment.
