Job Description

MEDICAL ASSISTANT
- Part Time / Friday Evenings and Saturday Mornings At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier. We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists in areas of practice, from cardiology to podiatry. Each of our offices has laboratory centers for tests and blood work on site. We also offer unique services like our nuclear stress testing facility, and our after-hours care center for established patients. We are seeking a nationally Certified Medical Assistant to join our After-Hours Care Center team in Pikesville! Under the supervision of the health care provider and manager, you will perform front desk check-in and registration duties, triage calls, and assist with medical exams and procedures. The After-Hours Care Center is located at our Woodholme / Pikesville facility. The After-Hours Care Center is for established patients of Clinical Associates. Appointments are required as this is not considered a walk-in facility.
Location:
1838 Greene Tree Road (Woodholme Medical Building)
Shift Hours:
Fridays 4:30pm - 9:00pm and Saturdays 8:30am - 1:00pm DUTIES Perform front desk registration, check in and check out duties via use of Phreesia. Assist with pre -op exams and office visits related to episodic and acute care. Interview patients, log vitals and provide information and/or directions to patients. Administer injections/immunizations. Perform EKGs, urine dipstick, finger sticks, diagnostic and screening tests. Assist with end of shift closing operations including turning phone system over to the on-call providers. Be a part of a team and work closely with providers and management. Requirements High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program is required. Experience in Internal Medicine or Primary Care. (REQUIRED) Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
