positions in the Centers of Excellence and Maryland Family Care practices, of which this role applies to.

Responsibilities:

Front Desk and back office support for Cardiology Providers. The position is 50%-50% front office and back office support when needed. Front office consists of patient check in, verifying insurance and requirements of that insurance i.e. referrals / authorizations, co-pay collections and scheduling of visits, testing and procedures as needed, back office consisits of vitals, i.e. manual blood pressure, height,weight and EKG as needed. The staff member demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the ages of patients served. In addition, the staff member demonstrates competency in applying these principles when providing individualized care to specific patients. • Every employee is expected to support the goals and mission of Mercy Medical Center, in particular the commitment to providing all patients easy access to high quality care, service and value. Salary Information:

Compensation decisions are made in alignment with internal equity, role scope, and market data to ensure fair and consistent pay practices. Most new hires are typically placed within the lower to mid-portion of the range; offers above that level are reserved for candidates with advanced or highly specialized qualifications.
